In the spring of 1994, Jesus Christ became my Lord and Savior. He rescued me from the dung hill to set me amongst the princes of the people (1 Samuel 2:8). At that time, my occupation was in the electrical union (IBEW) Local 86 Rochester, NY. The construction site became my personal mission field and I sowed much seed as God opened many doors. In October 2003, God personally called me to full time pasturing at Old Paths Chapel in Perry, NY through personal revelation of Peter 5:2-3.
This position of privilege has with it, the tag of high responsibility and accountability, which I try to stay very aware of each and every day. I believe my calling requires me to teach, love, encourage, pray for, and serve the “flock of His heritage” (1 Peter 5:3) and I ask the Holy Spirit to do this through me as I am too limited to accomplish this myself.
I believe the church belongs to Jesus Christ, as He said He would build His church (Matthew 16:18) and that the privileged position of Paster requires one to stay in close communication with the one who bought the Church with His blood.
I have been blessed by God with a wonderful wife, Danell, and we have been blessed with 3 amazing children. God also called is to open our hearts and home in adoption of 3 more precious children.
My vision in life is to finish well for His glory and to come alongside others and encourage them to do the same… “While we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen: for the things that are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
I hope to live a life that would leave behind a message that would speak… “For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our vonscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you.” 2 Corinthians 1:12
